Communion of the Watchers is a wearable relic inspired by the earliest biblical depictions of angels — not gentle messengers, but witnesses of divine terror, voice, and obedience.
Upcycled from a former glossy bag, this object preserves its past through visible wear and surface scratches, treated as marks of history rather than flaws. There is no lining, no comfort — only form and intention. This piece is not meant for daily use, but for presence, performance, and symbolic wear.
At its center, a winged mouth emerges as a distorted angelic form: wings without a body, teeth without speech — referencing angels described as eyes, voices, and devouring fire rather than human likeness. Sealed in gloss and blood-toned resin, it exists between offering and warning.
This is an art object made to be carried like a vessel — a reminder that angels were never meant to be beautiful.
