THE IN BETWEEN REALM
Spooks are tiny creatures born in the space between dreams and lost thoughts. They appear only when someone feels a sharp mix of curiosity and fear — the exact moment when your brain whispers “what if something is behind me?” and nothing is there… except maybe a Spook preparing to exist.
Their bodies are soft, fluffy, and warm, almost like a pocket-sized shadow. But their faces? Too expressive. Too alive. Too… hungry for attention (not flesh — they bite only to communicate).
Spooks don’t speak with words. They show emotion with their tongues, teeth, and eye shimmer:
• A long tongue = excitement
• A toothy grin = mischief
• Big glossy eyes = curiosity
• Extra drool = love (or chaos, same thing for them)
They latch onto bags, keys, charms, or straps because they love movement — they enjoy being shaken around, seeing the world from bouncing angles, and scaring strangers just enough to make them laugh.
Just like real creatures from their strange realm, none looks the same. Each one has a slightly different bite pattern, tongue shape, fluff texture, and personality.
♥Glimmer Spooks – Small, playful creatures who spark with curiosity and love discovering new sights.
♥Biteborn Spooks – Energetic troublemakers who jump into action first and think… never.
♥Whisper Spooks – Quiet, shadowy observers who communicate through subtle movements and soft glimmers.
♥Howler Spooks – Loud, dramatic beings who feel every emotion at maximum volume.
♥Oddling Spooks – Rare, chaotic Spooks whose behavior follows no rules and makes no sense to anyone, even themselves.
But they all share one thing: They want a human to adopt them so they don’t get lost in the In-Between realm again.
When you adopt a Spook, you officially become their “Anchor”— the person who keeps them in this world. In return, they give you:
• weird emotional support
• chaos energy
• protection against boring days
• 1–2 accidental jump scares a week
They’re creepy. They’re cute. They’re absurd. And they’re very loyal.
